Job Description

Description:  Core responsibilities include providing high level instruction in both high school and middle school ELA (English Language Arts) courses. In addition, the prospective candidate should possess the willingness and capacity to teach college level courses and AP(Advanced Placement) courses in grades 10, 11 and 12. Knowledge of researched based teaching methods and an understanding of mastery learning and grading practices are expected. Preference will be given to candidates with multiple certifications.

Effective Start Date:  September 2, 2026

 

Job Qualifications

Qualifications: NYS certification, ELA (English Language Arts) 7-12

NYSED Fingerprint Clearance Required

Candidates must submit a completed online application and fingerprint clearance by the closing date above.
